Ans. Raja Varma had no experience in administration. Things were soon thrown into disorder, his hasty decisions and bad management of state affairs made people unhappy.
(ii) What was Tenali Raman’s plan to remove the artist from his new job?
Ans. Tenali Raman invited the King, the Queens, and some courtiers to his house for lunch. He called a very good carpenter to prepare a grand feast for the King. Tenali Raman wanted to make the King realise his wrong decision of making an artist a Chief Minister, which is why he called a carpenter to prepare food for the grand feast. This was his plan to remove the artist from his job.
(iii) Why did Tenali Raman ask a carpenter to cook food for his feast?
Ans. Tenali Raman asked a carpenter to prepare for a grand feast because he wanted to make the King realise his wrong decision of making Raja Varma the Chief Minister.
